Royal Tapas – with guest chef Stefan Pappert 👑🍽️
A special evening featuring Royal Tapas from the home region of Stefan Pappert and Jens – two true Rhön lads.
One lives in London, the other on the ‘most beautiful island in the world’. They met by chance on Facebook. What began as a spontaneous exchange eventually led to the idea for this special event. True to the motto “Nothing ventured, nothing gained”, I wrote to Stefan again and asked if he’d like to cook for us – and to my great surprise, he agreed straight away. I was thrilled!
I am all the more looking forward to this evening, when we are sure to be served a number of specialities from our shared homeland – accompanied by fascinating stories from his extraordinary career.
About Stefan Pappert
Stefan Pappert is a renowned German chef, internationally known as the “Queen’s Chef” and for his leading role in event catering at major sports venues.
- Royal Household (2017–May 2023): Official title “Chef to The Royal Household”. He cooked at Windsor Castlefor Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip and played a key role in the logistics for the coronation of King Charles III.
- London posts: Worked at the Landmark Hotel and provided exclusive catering for Arsenal FC.
- Wembley Stadium: For around five years, Lead Chef at Wembley Stadium in London, responsible for the “Three Lions” restaurant and the catering for major events with up to 90,000 guests.
